He specializes in light tackle and fly fishing, targeting species such as Redfish, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout, and Cobia. His work has been featured in fishing publications and television shows on ESPN and the Outdoor Channel. A strong advocate of conservation, he promotes catch-and-release fishing to help preserve the local fishery. Known for his patience and professionalism, he tailors each trip to meet the needs of beginners and experienced anglers alike, ensuring everyone has the chance to land a great catch.

Fishing opportunities change with the seasons. In the spring, anglers can target Cobia, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, and Sharks. Summer brings Tarpon, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Tripletail, Sharks, Trout, and Mackerel. Fall is an excellent time to fish for Bull Redfish, Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. During the winter months, Redfish, Bull Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead are common catches. No matter the time of year, the waters around Hilton Head offer an exciting selection of fish.

Captain Brian’s 18’ Hells Bay Professional Flats Skiff is ideal for shallow waters and accommodates up to two people, while his 25’ Hells Bay Estero Bay Boat can take up to four. Additional trips can be arranged with Captain Alex and Captain Ethan, both experienced guides and Lowcountry natives, who run a 22’ Pathfinder Bay Boat that fits up to five people.
